Who is Spock Vulcan nerve-pinching in the first Star Trek 2 photos? Spoilers!

In these unofficial shots, Spock (Zachary Quinto) battles the film’s unknown villain —Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch, who’s wearing a black Starfleet uniform — on a space barge.

Spock goes in for his famous tweak attack, but Cumberbatch resists and turns the tide. In another photo, Uhura (Zoe Saldana) provides back-up by brandishing a phaser at Cumberbatch.

What nefarious character could resist a nerve pinch? Postulate wildly in the comments!
